There are 11 days left in September .

Is it time for a bold move?

You bet.

Is it time to stand up and get noticed?

Oh yeah.

Now that I’ve got your attention, what are you going to do?

As I look around, I see a lot of entropy. (There’s a nice $5 word for you.)

So many of us scrambled to respond to lock downs, remote work, and the complete disruption caused by COVID that we’ve forgotten the joy and adventure of being an entrepreneur.

After 2+ years, the new normal is now the status quo, and it’s not pretty.

Things we did as stop-gap measures to get through the first months of the pandemic have become our everyday routine.

And no, I’m not talking about working from home.

I like working from home.

Almost everyone I know likes working from home.

I’m talking about stepping outside your comfort zone.

It was a great place to hang out for a while, but it’s time to move on.

It’s time for a controlled burn. Taking risks, being confident, and doing something outrageous.

  • Revamp an existing product/service
  • Rewrite your playbook
  • Do something your competitors won’t

In the BC (before COVID) world, you probably played it safe. During the pandemic, you were on damage control. Now, it’s time to step up and embrace that idea you’ve been toying with.

You know the one I mean.

The idea that’s been hanging in the dark corners while you did the responsible thing.

Not ready for the big leagues? How about adding a little disruption in an otherwise ho-hum day.

  • Start a video podcast. Think 60-seconds, no edits.
  • Run a crazy marketing campaign - just to get noticed!
  • Start a side gig for fun. (No one said you could only have one business)

Find something that will shine a spotlight on you and your business and do it!

The only way to fight entropy is to inject fresh energy.

Whatever you decide to do, be bold, be fearless, and make it happen!
